Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then said I, Here I am. Send Me.

TAMALE
Northern Region, Ghana
Tamale is the capital city of Northern Region of Ghana and is known as the seat of Islam in Ghana. Christians face great challenges living out their faith and evangelizing. We saw the great need of encouragement, training and equipping the local Christian churches and believers for this task.
Under the auspice of AIM, Rev. Sophia teamed up with the Messiah Evangelistic & Mission Center to minister for three nights at the Evangelical Church of Ghana (ECG) in Tamale. From November 8-10, 2013, indoor teaching and seminar on the Great Commission went off. The saints were encouraged, revived and motivated to move out and evangelize in the midst of the challenges to work within a deeply Islam community.
The three day ministry had a great impact on the senior pastor and the leadership of the church, who were challenged to continue and expand their efforts. The leadership made immediate plan to institute an evangelism and outreach ministry in the church. Three young men felt led to the call of God can came forward to seek further training to effectively work for the cause of Christ among their Muslim brothers and sisters.
In the same way, there is more joy in heaven
over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over nainety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!
- Luke 15:7
