Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then said I, Here I am. Send Me.

DUNKWA
Central Region, Ghana
Dunkwa is a remote farming district located in the Central Region of Ghana. Within this region are several cocoa farm lands with communities of farmers who live in huts on the farms. This region is so isolated and lacking in infrastructure that students are tasked with walking 3-4 miles each way to attend school. The same journey is necessary in order for the villagers to attend church to worship. The Lord led us to the villageof Nyame Nae, Alhaji Krom and Agya Amankye Akuraa. From September 18-25,2017 we partnered with our Ghana missions coordinators to engage these villages through preaching and ministry.
It was the rainy season yet we witnessed the intense thirst of the people for God’s word. People walked through the farms at night in the heavy rain to the site of open air crusade, each night the majority of the crowd coming forward to receive the Lord as Savior and Lord for the first time. Prayer for healing was conducted afterward and the Lord touched many. Some however needed more than healing. Demonic spirits manifested and by the authority in Jesus’ name, most were set free. Some Muslims were converted and turned to Jesus for the first time. One of them Mr. Mustafa, had a unique testimony to give. God is now using Mustafa to win other Muslims to Christ.
In the same way, there is more joy in heaven
over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over nainety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away!
- Luke 15:7
